Information office in St. Petersburg

The Information office in St. Petersburg was established in 1995 to represent Nordic Council of Ministers and to identify partners for Nordic – Russian cooperation particularly in the North West Russia.

Three Contact Centres have been established under the office in Petrozavodsk, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk to disseminate information and build networks in Barents Region.

Main tasks of the information office are the following:

• Enhance and facilitate cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experiences and networking between Nordic and Russian organizations
• Coordinate administration and implementation of Nordic Council Ministers activities and programs in North West Russia
• Promote and ensure networking and information distribution between Nordic Council of Ministers and partner organizations in North West Russia
